I can’t really write a lot about this, as I had to go and read up on it after seeing it, but “Shichi-Go-San” translates to seven-five-three. Three and seven year old girls and three and five year old boys are dressed in traditional dress and taken to shrines. It represents the rite of passage into “middle” childhood.
